Overview:
Lumberjacked is a co-operative puzzle action adventure game made by 27 people in eight weeks. I worked on the project as an outsource rigger and contact point for animation. During these eight weeks I also worked on Ancient Dance as animator. I created multiple motion capture rigs and one full IK/FK rig for the main characters. The goal of the game is to solve puzzles by throwing objects and the other player to platforms, targets and woodland creatures.

My Contributions:
Making a FK/IK rig I made a basic FK/IK rig because originally part of the animations were going to be hand-keyed. The two main characters were going to have elaborate falling and flying. |
Creating multiple motion capture skeletons
For this project I created multiple motion capture skeleton, the bunny, the raccoon (final skeleton and skinning) and the two main characters that also have a FK/IK rig. The biggest challenge with this project were the very ought proportions which meant sometimes I had to figure out where the bones went which was a fun puzzle and I had to take the proportions into account with skinning, |

Outsource communication
This was the first time I did the communication with a different team as outsource. I planned deadlines with them in the first few weeks and did regular check-ups so that both sides made sure that their deliverables were there on time. I also helped the animators in my team with motion builder in the beginning due to them being new to the clean-up process. |
